Close Combat
Close combat is initiated when a unit has an enemy unit in range of its furthest reaching CC weapon, but remember if you are in close combat you cannot shoot, but if you not in base contact others can shoot you
So how is it done, if you may remember I said that you couldn’t move within 5 cm of an enemy? Right well now I explain why, after the movement and shooting phase, the player whose turn it is may make an extra move into base contact with an enemy, which is measured in D6”.
The charge cannot be attempted if the unit fired a non-combo weapon, or if they fired a combo ranged weapon, but does not have mêlée combo weapon.
